GEORGE YOUNG AWARD

The N.F.L. Officials Association gives the George Young Award, named after an N.O.A. official who worked in the N.F.L. and was assigned to the very first Super Bowl.  The NOA continues the tradition now after Bill Swanson moved to Florida.  It is awarded to an N.O.A. football member who exhibited outstanding leadership on the football field, in the organization, and for football officiating over the years.
